KING carter Golf club
KING CARTER GOLF CLUB made quite a splash on the Mid-Atlantic golf scene, partly due to its designation by Golf Digest as ‘the best new Affordable Public Course’ of 2006. The King Carter Golf Club was the inspiration of David Donofrio, who’s had a passion for golf since his childhood. Mr. Donofrio grew up in Delaware, and his early years included caddying at the Wilmington Country Club. He was a Horticulture/Design major in college, and his genuine lifelong aspiration to design a golf course led him to acquire the 19 parcels of land that eventually became King Carter Golf Course and Hills Quarter. EAGLE LANDING
Located on 435 acres of pristine waterfront on the eastern branch of the Corrotoman River in Lancaster County Virginia, EAGLE LANDING is a unique community of 81 home sites surrounding an established American Bald Eagle habitat. The private, water oriented community center provides exceptional amenities including: clubhouse, swimming pool, boat ramp with dock, tennis courts and playground. Donofrio managed the development of this environmentally sensitive community for Delmarva Properties, Inc. from its inception through site preparation and construction of new homes.
HARBOUR POINTE
With a focus on preserving the existing sanctuary for wildlife, migratory & native birds and towering hardwoods, HARBOUR POINTE was established at the mouth of the Potomac River and the Chesapeake Bay in Northumberland County of Virginia’s Northern Neck. In addition to the serenity of the unparalleled natural beauty, all sites have access to the Bay, a sandy private beach, boat ramp & dock and tennis courts. Donofrio managed the development of this community of 75 home sites, owned by Delmarva Properties, Inc., which offered ¾ acre to 3 acre sites facing the Bay and Potomac, Hack Creek or fresh-water Black’s Lake.
RIVER POINTE
RIVER POINTE is an intimate community of 12 large home sites, located in a pastoral setting at the Western Branch of the Corrotoman River in Lancaster County Virginia. Donofrio managed the development of this peaceful, rural community for Delmarva Properties, Inc.
